Worship Associates

The Worship Associates work with the ministers to plan and create the Sunday morning worship services. When our ministers are away, they provide support for guests, both lay and clergy. They regularly create worship services on their own, and they are also responsible for most of the summer services when our co-ministers are on vacation. They meet regularly with our ministers and attend
an intensive training program each year before beginning their work in September.

There are usually seven worship associates, six adults and one youth. Worship Associates are chosen each year by the current group and the co-ministers. They bring many skills to the program, such as presentational ability, a gift for writing, spiritual depth and excitement about our faith and worship. Those interested in becoming a worship associate should speak with a current worship associate or one of the co-ministers.
