We Care
The We Care Network is how we take care of the practical needs of the congregation. It is essentially a list of church members and friends who are willing to provide an occasional meal, ride, visit, card, phone call or other assistance to a fellow congregant in need, such as after surgery, a death or birth; or food for a memorial service reception. To add yourself to the list, or when you or someone you know is in need of help, please contact the We Care Coordinator for the month; this person is named in the weekly Bulletin and in the monthly newsletter, Branches.
The We Care Coordinators are three or four members who recruit help when there is a need and arrange for the hosting of, and finger food for, memorial service receptions. They serve two-year staggered terms and meet as a group with the minister every six or so weeks. If you are interested in serving as a We Care Coordinator, please speak with one of them or the minister to learn more.
