Fundraisers
Who ever said fundraisers had to be boring? Some of our most enjoyable community events raise a significant amount of money for PBUUC. Among them are our Annual Community Auction, held each November, and our Ethnic and Regional Dinners, held two or three times each year. These occasions are a time for fellowship, music, food and fun.
Once a month, the Social Action Committee takes a special collection to benefit worthy causes in the larger community.
Several times over our congregation's history, PBUUC has conducted "capital campaigns" to raise funds for a certain large project, such as the geothermal heating/cooling system in the Religious Exploration Building or the refurbishment of our 100-year-old grand piano. The Board of Trustees authorizes such campaigns as they are needed.
