Chalice Dancers
The Chalice Dancers bring the joy of sacred movement into our Sunday worship services. Led by choreographer/director Sharon Werth, the troupe expands and redefines the liturgical dance tradition for the Unitarian Universalist faith and the 21st century.
In addition to performing to music, the Chalice Dancers may act out stories, especially for youth-oriented services. The troupe has performed at neighboring UU churches and for the Joseph Priestley District Racial Justice Conference.
Like the Choir, the Chalice Dancers offer a chance to commission a dance as a fund-raising item in the Annual Congregational Auction.
If you are interested in expressing your spirituality through movement, and would like to join the Chalice Dancers, please contact Sharon for more information.
